How heavy should your weighted blanket be?
A commonly used guideline when choosing a weighted blanket is around 10% of body weight, although personal preference and comfort should always be taken into account.
If you prefer a lighter feel, you may wish to choose a blanket closer to 8% of body weight.
We suggest:
7lb blanket – suitable for people weighing approximately 60lb–90lb.
10lb blanket – suitable for people weighing approximately 90lb–140lb.
Ultimately, the most comfortable weight will come down to personal preference.
