The weight is provided by small glass beads inside fabric sacks. The sacks are placed inside all four paws, feet, hands, hooves etc and a larger sack fills the lower half of the body. The rest of the animals is filled with comfy stuffing. This makes the weighted animal heavy but also cuddly.

I bought a puppy for my 17 year old at the Autism and ADHD show. She absolutely loves it, in fact everybody does. The weighted paws means she can have those on her shoulders with the body over her torso or just sit with him on her lap. The fabric is incredibly soft and tactile so it helps from a sensory perspective in various ways as well as being incredibly cute.
